About Safari World
Safari World has become the go-to store, in the New England region, for everything related to hunting and shooting. Originally, the company was incorporated in July 1989 as World of Hire Pty Ltd by local couple, Michael and Barbara Blenman.
The purpose of the company at the time was to supply a broad-based clientele hire product in the fields of building and contractors, handyman and party equipment and to supply pumps and irrigation to end users.
After close to a decade in successfully building the business from scratch, it was identified that more services were required by our clientele and the decision was made to expand into different areas of operation. This is when Safari World – Hunting Trekking and Photographic was developed.
Following the recent death of our Director, Michael Blenman, in May 2020, due to a long battle with leukaemia, we continue to operate as a family-owned business, under new management with Fiona Blenman continuing in her father’s legacy with Safari World, although World of Hire Pty Ltd and The Pump Shop have ceased operations.
Today, Safari World continues it’s presence online! We supply a range of products Australia wide and overseas, including archery and hunting accessories and clothing.
